Albert Wayne Skinner of Anderson, died Aug. 13, 2017.
Wayne graduated from Anderson High School, received a bachelor's degree in history and geography and a minor in religion from the University of South Carolina.
He was a Marine Corps Captain and retired in 1993. He returned to Anderson after retirement, and worked for several manufacturing facilities including, Delco, Red Gold, Navistar, and Stratosphere Quality.
He is survived by his parents, Albert George and Sue (VanLandingham) Skinner; wife, Avise (Archer) Skinner; children, Albert Niculaie (Constance Napolillo), Albert Jacob, Jennifer Tuell (Mitchell Tuell), and Georgia Castor (Corwin Castor); grandchildren, Raven and Albert Nathaniel Castor, Albert Ezekiel, Albert Gabriel, Albert Michael and Noelle Skinner, Caroline and Lillian Tuell; siblings, Albert Anthony (MaryAnn Broderick), Gina Skinner, and SuLynn Ruggles; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Raymond Skinner.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at L.C. May Funeral Home, 2024 Madison Ave., Anderson.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday.
