Andrea 'Andy''s Story
Andrea "Andy" Jean Banning, 66, of Anderson, passed away Dec. 24, 2017, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 16, 1951, in Elwood, and resided most of her life in Anderson.
Andrea graduated from Marion High School in 1969.
She worked for Sutter's Dairy in Marion, and retired after 24 years of service.
She attended Madison Park Church of God. Andrea was a past president of Tri Kappa, and was a lifetime member of Community Hospital Auxiliary volunteers.
She loved to spend time with her family, especially her two sisters, and her two nieces.
Andrea is survived by her loving spouse of 40 years, Douglas S. Banning Sr.; children, Cynthia Ann (Jeff) Wehner of Fishers, Douglas S. Banning Jr. of Cicero, and Johnathan A. (Lisa) Banning of Westfield; grandchildren, Blake, Marissa, Zachary; and stepgrandchildren, Sara (Taylor) Mock, Samantha Dickerson, and Reid Parsons. Also surviving are her sisters, Sue (Dave) Reynolds and Mary (Rodger) Eppl; and nieces, Allyson and Ashley Eppl.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Ellyson; father, Wayne Ellyson; and several aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Tom Malbone officiating. Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park
