Betty's Story

Betty A. Boys, 80, passed away Sept. 10, 2017, at Lindberg Crossing Senior Living.
Born to Howard and Emmalean Pearson on March 21, 1937, in Anderson, she was a beautician by trade. She also enjoyed cake decorating, knitting, crocheting and sewing. Her family was very important and she loved having four daughters. Her legacy is a life of caring. Her kind heart would help anyone that needed assistance. She was known to many as "Aunt Betty" and took care of many others in her lifetime. She was a beauty inside and out with a wonderful laugh that lives on through her daughters.
Left to cherish Betty's memory are daughters, Teresa (Andy) Absher and their children, Jennifer (Greg) McCoy and Mason Absher; Tina (Terry) Rogers and their children, TJ (Ange) Rogers, Jeremiah (Michelle) Rogers, Tabitha Rogers, and Jasmine (BJ) Riedie; Tonya (Cal) Duckworth and their children, Kyle Duckworth and Steven Duckworth; and Tyra (Todd) Wright and their children, Ashley Gaither (Casey Brumfield), Kirk Gaither Jr., and Bronson Wright. Also surviving are 15 great-grandchildren and the first great-great-grandchild yet to be born.
Preceding Betty in death is her father, Howard Pearson; her mother, Emmalean (Cox) High and stepfather, Paul J. High; sister, Patricia Evernham; and brother, Melvin Pearson.
The family wishes to thank Lindberg Crossing Senior Living staff for their loving care of Betty.
Donations in memory of Betty may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services assisted the family with arrangements.
