Betty's Story

Betty C. (Cave) Broschart, 91, of Pendleton, passed away Sept. 7, 2017.
She was born July 7, 1926, in French Lick, Indiana, to Fred and Magileen (Elledge) Cave and was a Pendleton resident since 1965.
Betty was a 1944 graduate of French Lick High School and a member of the Catholic Church.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Robert C. Broschart, whom she married on April 14, 1959; three children, Robert C. (Patti) Broschart Jr., John E. (Pam) Broschart and Ann Broschart; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, April, John Jr., Jared, Kelsey, Elijah and Frances Broschart; five great-grandchildren; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services at 6 p.m. Monday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton, with Father Daniel P. Shine officiating. Cremation will follow with burial at a later date in Ames Chapel Cemetery, Orange County, Indiana.
Visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at Lahm Chapel.
