Betty Imogene (Carter) Neal, 83, resident of Pendleton, passed away Dec. 20, 2017, at Community Hospital of Anderson.
She was born July 21, 1934, in Burkesville, Kentucky, the daughter of Allen and Sallie Melton Carter.
She was a 1952 graduate of Middletown High School and retired from General Motors in Anderson.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors are two sons, Dan Neal (Robbin) of New Castle and Jeff Neal of Markleville; grandchildren, Claire Neal and Hayden Neal of Markleville and Blake (Becky) Neal of Pendleton; one brother, Clide Carter (Marylou) of Middletown; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 S. Fifth St., Middletown. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
