Bobby G. Flowers ALEXANDRIA [mdash] Bobby G. Flowers, 76, of Alexandria, passed away Feb. 15, 2019, at Community Hospital of Anderson.
He was born July 12, 1942, to Joe and Robbie Flowers.
Bob was a graduate of Highland High School class of 1960. He was a longtime member of the Central Indiana Bluegrass Association and served as treasurer. He worked on the farm with Tim and Dale Washburn and he was a owner-operator driving a semi for over 30 years. Through his CB handle he was known as the "Checker Man."
Bob will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved him.
Bob is survived by his son, Scott Flowers; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty Hughes, Wanda Dray, Hazel Flowers, Edie Storm (Steve), Judy Erwin (Dan), Keith Flowers (Lyn), Jerry Flowers, and Roy (Leah) Flowers; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Lee Flowers; and his parents.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019, with a funeral service beginning at 7 p.m. at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service-Anderson. Pastor Brad Storm will be officiating.

I remember going to Aunt Robbie and Uncle Joe's and most of the kids being there and visiting. It was fun.

I only knew him for a short time when he would come in to get pizza but very funny and wonderful guy my deepest heart felt prayers for the flowers family I am truly sorry Scott luv ya man jeffro

I remember spending many weekends at my cousins' house in the country. Bobby use to tease me to no end. Great memories of playing kick the can at night! Just a lot of fun!
