Bruce's Story

Bruce Thomas McIntyre, 64, of Anderson, passed away on Oct. 1, 2017, at his residence.
He was born in Anderson on Sept. 12, 1953. He was a clock repairman for B & B Jewelers and McIntyre Jewelers for 48 years.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 35 years, Diana (Perdue) McIntyre of Anderson; children, Amanda McIntyre and Austin (Macie) McIntyre, all of Anderson; grandchildren, Michael-Alan Sayers and one on the way, Rustin McIntyre; parents, SB and Betty McIntyre; siblings, Steve (Jude) McIntyre and Connie (Ed) Roberts both of Anderson; brother-in-law, Doug (Marla) Perdue; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Mary Perdue.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, with Pastors Tom Chapman and Mike Clark officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
