On Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, Christine Lee transitioned from this life into eternal life.
She was born Aug. 28, 1927, in Como Mississippi, to Affredie and Effie Brooks. She accepted Jehovah at a early age and has remained a devoted and loyal member of Jehovah Witness for over 50 years.
Christine later moved to Anderson and married the love of her life James "lil' Jimmy" Lee.
She worked at RCA in Marion Indiana for 25 years before deciding to retire. Christine loved spending time with family and friends and especially working in the field with her Jehovah Witness family.
One of her favorite saying was "I'm still kicking but not high."
She is survivied by son, Tyrone Mangrum; six grandchildren, Takisha Wilkerson, Nevada Mangrum, Tyson(Toniesha)Mangrum, Tylor Peoples, Iyanna Mangrum, and Malcolm Mangrum; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brother, Marvin Brooks; and a host of nieces, nephews, Kingdom Hall family.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at L.C. May Funeral Service with Brother Jim Stough officiating.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
