Claris Ann (Byrum) Robeton, 89, of Anderson, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017, at St. Vincent Anderson Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born on May 12, 1928, in Chesterfield, the daughter of M. Myrl and Ethelyn Wilson Byrum. She worked in vocational rehabilitation.
She is survived by three children, Nancy (Jim) Matthewman-Lane, Janice (Rick) Winkler and Glen Robeton; five grandchildren, Julie (Scott) Tuttle Davis, Jill (Brian) Thompson, Lauren (Eric) Versch, Kelly (Brian) Smith and Kayla Winkler; 10 great-grandchildren, Matthew and Ethan Tuttle, Zoey, Riley, and Avery Smith, Brianna and Kaitlyn Thompson, and Emma, Ava and William Versch; and two nephews, Michael and Jack Robeton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Robeton; and her parents.
The family would like to thank the 6th floor South physicians and staff from St. Vincent Anderson Hospital and also the Hospice Nursing Staff.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 30 at noon at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service officiated by Ned Clark of Chesterfield Christian Church.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Madison County Humane Society.
