Claude Zion Jr., 85, of Anderson, passed away on Oct. 30, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born April 9, 1932, in Anderson, where he resided all of his life.
He served his country in the U.S. Army.
He owned and operated Arrow Auto Sales for 65 years.
He loved old cars, collecting war memorabilia, and anything else that he thought was worth money. Claude worked hard for his family his whole life. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren more than anything.
Claude is survived by his loving wife, Mary Zion; children, Scott W. (Linda) Zion, Claude Junior (Dori) Zion II, and Mike Zion; siblings, Clarence (Nancy) Zion, and Robert (Johnnie) Zion; grandchildren, Michelle Lomely, Scotty (Fawn) Zion Jr., Chris (Jessica) Hobbs, Brittany Zion, Matthew (Cassie) Zion, and Claude J. Zion III; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Zion Sr.; mother, Gertrude Zion; brother, Tommy Zion; and his sister, Betty Bair-Zion.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, at the funeral home, with Pastor Rick Craig officiating. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park.
