Danny B. Stanley, 74, of Anderson died Dec. 7, 2017, at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born, Feb. 11, 1943, in Maysville, Kentucky, the son of Daniel and Druzella (Turner) Stanley.
He served in the United States Navy during Vietnam.
He worked in skilled trades department of Guide Lamp for 32 years of employment before retiring in 1995. He also owned and operated Dan Stanley and Son Septic Tank and Sewer Service.
He is survived by his four children, Barbara (Mitch) Gaunt, Danny (Nancy) Stanley, Regina Stanley and Francie (Greg) Blowers; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Charity and Lottie.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, 2017, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Ned Clark officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery with military graveside rites.
Visitation will be from noon until the service at 2 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
