Debra L. Ryan, 52 of Pendleton, passed away Nov. 15, 2017.
She was born Sept. 7, 1965, in Anderson, and was a Pendleton resident most of her life.
Debra was a registered nurse for many years.
She was a 1983 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School and received her associates degree in nursing from Ivy Tech University. While at Pendleton Heights she was a member of the track team and later served as an instructor as well. Debra was a past song leader at Huntsville Evangelistic Community Church. She truly loved and enjoyed cooking.
Survivors include her sons, Richard "Dick" Dale Gooding of Gaston, James R. Gooding of Athens, Tennessee, and Denny Lee Gooding and Jak Gooding, both of New Castle; parents, Dennis L. and Violet L. (Williams) Ryan of Pendleton; sisters, Lana Farrow of Fishers and Julie Larkin (husband, Larrie) of Pendleton; grandchildren, Nicholas Richard Nelson, Penelope Faith Nelson, Thomas Alan Theommes and Jazmin Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Euvine Hulse and Nina Ryan.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton, with Pastor Paul Blair officiating. Cremation will follow at a later date.
Visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at Lahm Chapel.
