Debra Rose (Eytchison) Veppert, 59, of Anderson, passed away Jan. 26, 2017, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born in Anderson on July 9, 1957, and has lived in Anderson most of her life.
Debbie was a homemaker who loved cooking and working in her garden. She loved sewing, making quilts and being with her family. She would create beautiful cakes for any occasion.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Keith Veppert of Anderson; stepson, Steven Criner of Columbus, Ohio; stepgrandson, Steven Criner II; stepgranddaughter, Brianna Criner and stepgreat-grandchild, Luke Taylor, all of Port Orange, Fla.; brothers and sisters, Chuck (Carolyn) Eytchison of Markleville, and Kathey (Jerry) Lambert of Chesterfield, Steve Eytchison of Anderson, Ralph (Gloria) Eytchison of Blanchard, Okla., Phillip (Janis) Eytchison of Anderson, Sheena (Gary) Sexton of Middletown, and Jeff (Lisa) Eytchison of Anderson; sisters-in-law, Kathy Smith and Stephanie (Tom) Sheppard, all of Ohio; brothers-in-law, Shawn Veppert and Trent Veppert, both of Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded by her mother, Pearl (Michael) Eytchison Paschal; father, Ralph Eytchison; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Marilee and Alex Veppert; and great-niece, Antonia Diaz.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with the Rev. Dave Downs officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
