Dolores Haines Ayres, 84, resident of Anderson, passed away Oct. 24, 2017, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
She was born Aug. 14, 1933, the daughter of Walter C. and Anna G. Wainscott Haines.
She attended Anderson High School and retired in 1986 from General Motors Delco Remy in Anderson.
She was a member of the Middletown Church of the Nazarene, United Auto Workers Local 662 and the Middletown American Legion Auxiliary 216.
She is survived by a sister, Katherine (Larry) Alspaugh of Mount Edna, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian; a son, Michael Clem; sister, Shirley Justice; and a brother, Charles Haines.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 S. Fifth St., Middletown, with Dr. Philip C. Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park, Anderson.
