Donald Paul Boblitt, of Anderson, passed away peacefully on Aug. 27, 2017, at the age of 70.
He was born in Loveland, Ohio.
Don was a Vietnam veteran and retired from General Motors. He was a founding member and treasurer of the Anderson Corvette Association. He was blessed to have a devoted family that all recently gathered for a family reunion.
Don is survived by his pride and joy, two daughters, Wendy (Tim) Bankes and Jennifer Boblitt. Don is also survived by his brother, David (Bert) Boblitt, and his six sisters, Linda Miller, Lisa (Bill) Galipault, Leeann (Mark) Flora, Lois Simonson, Lora (Lee) Beck and Loraine (Mark) Condrey. He was preceded in his death by his mother and father, Doris and Donald Boblitt; and his brother-in-law, Ben Miller. Don has four adorable grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
On Thursday, Aug. 31, at East Lynn Christian Church, 522 E. 53rd St., Anderson, a family visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m.
Open visitation will follow from 1 to 3 p.m. and then a 3 p.m. ceremony with military honors will be officiated by Mark Condrey.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Wounded Warrior or Alliance for Responsible Pet Ownership (ARPO).
