Doris (Niccum) Bloomer Hedrick, 98, passed away Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, at Rawlins House Nursing Home in Pendleton, following an extended illness.
She was born Oct. 14, 1919, in Daleville, the daughter of George and Jesse (Graham) Niccum. She was a lifelong area resident, homemaker, and attended First Church of Christ, Scientist in Anderson for many years. She was a great mom, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed dancing, music, and flea markets.
She is survived by three daughters, Shirley Pardi of Utica, New York, and Diane (Mike) Robeton and Sharon (John) Williams, all of Anderson; 13 grandchildren, Cindi and Debbie of New York, Tammy Brown of Yorktown, Kevin Roberts of Anderson, Chad (Tisha) Williams of Anderson, John David Williams of Anderson, Terry (Allison) Hendrickson of Anderson, Brandon (Farrah) Hendrickson of Anderson, Jennifer Hendrickson of Anderson, Sandra (Kevin) Robeton of Anderson, Michael (Linda) Robeton of Anderson, Stacy (Jeff) Robeton of Anderson, and Shannon (Dan) Robeton of Pennsylvania; many great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Bloomer; her second husband, Richard Hedrick; and her daughter, Lana Hendrickson; son, Jerry Robert Bloomer; three brothers, Kenneth Niccum, Paul Niccum, and Gilbert Niccum; three sisters, Gladys, Ruth, and Dean; and son-in-law, Andy Hendrickson.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with burial to follow in Pleasant Walk Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
