Dorothy K. Mills, 92, of New Castle passed away Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, at her home.
She was born Aug. 1, 1925, in Henry County, to Espie and Ollie May (Baty) Kissick.
Dorothy retired from Perfect Circle/Dana after 30 years of service. She was an 85- year member of Springport Christian Church and a member of Christian Woman's Fellowship, Friendship Home Economics Club, Henry County 4-H, Sulphur Spring/New Castle Order of the Eastern Star, Altrusa and Young Farmers.
She enjoyed playing Bridge, quilting, traveling, gardening and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Willey of New Castle, Marilyn Bradford of Plainfield, Robert "Bob" (Ginger) Mills of Middletown, and Janis (Kent) Thomas of Muncie; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; brother, Claude Kissick of Mount Summit; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Esther Ratliff and Don Kissick; and son-in-law, Frank Bradford.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Henry County Home Health, Henry County Hospice and Dorothy's caregivers for their excellent care.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Tad Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Summit Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. with an Order of the Eastern Star Service at 5:30 p.m.
