Dwight E. Scott, 74, of Pendleton, passed away on May 28, 2017, at Edgewater Woods Nursing Home.
He was born on Aug. 25, 1942, in Modoc, and resided most of his life in Pendleton.
Dwight served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
He retired from AT&T after 37.5 years.
He was a member of First Friends Church and was a Cubmaster for Cub Pack 232 and Assistant Scoutmaster for Troup 229. He was an old car enthusiast.
Dwight is survived by his loving spouse of 55 years, Sharon-Ann (Fouse) Scott; children, Eric Lee (Robin) Scott, Wendy Ann (Henry) Howard, and Heather Michelle Scott; siblings, Franklin "Bob" Sayre, Charles Sayre, Jack Sayre, Thelma Payne, Doris Rathburn, Annabelle Franklin, Marjorie Dishon, and Jean Ann Elson; daughter-in-law, Melinda Scott; four grandsons; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harmon Edgar Scott; mother, Cecilia Marie (Kuhns) Scott; son, Kevin Edward Scott; brothers, Lloyd Grow, Leo Grow, Albert Sayre and Marion Sayre.
Memorial Services will be held at United Wesleyan Church, 2235 S. Central Way, Anderson, on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jack Holliday officiating with military rites. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Cremation will take place.
