Frances L. Closser, age 86, of Anderson, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, at Edgewater Wood Nursing Home in Anderson.
Frances was born May 1, 1931, in Boonville, Missouri, the daughter of Henry and Ada (Verts) Windsor. On March 17, 1961, she married James E. Closser Jr. and they shared 40 years together before he passed away on Feb. 12, 2002.
Frances was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Anderson. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.
Frances is survived by her two daughters, Mary (Chris) Burris of Frankton and Sandy (Blaise) Sauro of Slidell, Lousiana; son, Ronald Closser of North Collage Hill, Ohio; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Adele Pauley of Ashland, Missouri, and Eula Allen of Columbia City, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
Frances was preceded in death by her father, Henry Windsor; mother, Ada Windsor; husband, James E. Closser Jr.; son, David Kellner; sister, Connie Smith; sister, Mary Martha Dilthey; and brother, Dayton Windsor.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at Grace Baptist Church, 432 W. 300N, Anderson, with Pastor Doug Stein officiating. Burial will take place on Monday in Sedalia, Missouri.
Visitation will be on Saturday prior to the funeral service from 10 to 11 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church in Anderson.
