Fred Warner, 69, passed away in Omaha, Nebraska.
He was an Anderson High School graduate, retired from Anderson City Water Co., and served in the United States Army.
He was active in the Anderson community with the youth sports activities, the Jackson Park Group which helped in renaming of Jackson Park, and dedication from Louise
Street to Dr. J.T. Menifee Street, and the J.T. Menifee citywide cleanup. He loved family gatherings and fishing.
A memorial tribute will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at The New Birth Worship Center, 403 W. 22nd St., Anderson, with Pastor Earlie Dixon officiating.
