Geneva M.(Wood) Wilson, 82, died Monday, April 10, 2017, at her Summitville residence.
Geneva was born Dec. 10, 1934, in Edmonton, Ky., daughter of William Gladys and Bessie M. (Fields) Wood. She married Howard L. Wilson on Dec. 27, 1950, in Edmonton, Ky.
Geneva was a homemaker and a member of the Ravenna Separate Baptist Church in Edmonton, Ky. She enjoyed fishing, playing Skip Bo, Ginseng digging, crocheting and quilting.
Geneva is survived by daughters, Kathy Rector, Summitville, and Sandy (George) Thomasson, Edmonton, Ky.; son-in-law, Jim Havens, Fairmount; sister, Sarah (John) Creamer, Marion; grandchildren, Angie (Coby) Huggins, Summitville, William "Billy" (Sara) Hart, Edmonton, Ky., J.A. (Laura) Hart, Columbia, Ky., Jeremy Havens, Fairmount, and Judd (Ashley) Havens, Marion; several stepgrandchildren, several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard L. Wilson on Jan. 7, 2013; daughter, Rita "Susie" Havens; and her brother, Von Wood.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, where visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday with Pastors Johnny Davis and Alex Beane officiating. Burial will follow in Vinson Cemetery in Summitville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ravenna Separate Baptist Church or the Summitville Fire Department in care of the funeral home.
