Georgia's Story

Georgia Ann (Wills) Hoopingarner, 79, of Pendleton, passed away on Feb. 20, 2017, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
She was born on Aug. 23, 1937, in New Castle to the late Harold and Emma (Padgett) Wills.
Georgia was employed as a cafeteria worker at Valley Grove School. She also worked as secretary at Central Christian Church, Aspire of Anderson, and East 91st Street Christian Church, Indianapolis.
She was a member, and involved in the Miriam Group at Bethany Christian Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Glen Hoopingarner of Pendleton; children, Alan (Karen) Hoopingarner of Anderson, and Tina (Gerald) Moore of Pendleton; grandchildren, Leslie (Brad) Skaggs, Lindsey (Brian) Burris, Ryan (Samantha) Hoopingarner, Courtney (Scott) Collum, Sara (Victoria) Moore, Dustin (Lindsey) Moore, Emily (Trent) Moore; great-grandchildren Kadence, Drew, Kage, Kaylynn, Lillith, Annalee, Noah, Myles, Gwendolyn and Carter; and many special friends.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, Anderson, with Bob Bell officiating. Cremation will take place.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
