Gilbert Lee Boles Gilbert Lee Boles, 61, of Anderson, passed away on Dec. 11, 2018, at his residence.
He was born on June 10, 1957, in Anderson, where he resided most of his life.
He retired as the Food Service Director at the C.I.F. in Pendleton.
He was a member of Central Community Chapel, Solar Masonic Lodge, and The Scottish Rite. He enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Gilbert is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly Boles; sons, Matthew Schoettmer, Dustin Schoettmer; grandchildren, Cynthia Schoettmer, Donnaven Schoettmer, Nioka Schoettmer; special friends, The Cravens family, Jennifer Brewster, Robin Schoettmer, Tom Gosser, Heather Wilson, The staff and ladies at Countryside Manor.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linnie R. Boles; father, Warren Boles; and his son, Baby Zack.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard Gregg officiating.
Cremation & Burial of Ashes will take place in The Gardens at Willowcrest Park at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to any local animal shelter.

I first met Gilbert @ Pizza Hut in late 70's in Chesterfield, In. He also helped me get a job @ CIF in early 90's. He was a fantastic person and a good friend. He will truly be missed but never forgotten. RIP my FRIEND 😪
