Harold Manifold, 82, of Anderson, went to be with his Lord very peacefully on Oct. 18, 2017, at his home. He was surrounded by his family.
He was born on Aug. 1, 1935, in Indianapolis, and resided most of his life in Anderson. He married his high school sweetheart, Sibyl C. Buck, on Dec. 6, 1953.
Harold graduated from Mooreland High School, Class of 1953.
He is a retired tool and die maker for Delco Remy.
He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church, where he was very active for years and currently served as an elder. Wintering in Fort Myers, Fla., associate member at Daniels Road Baptist Church, and member of United Auto Workers Local 662.
Harold loved his God and family. He enjoyed music, playing games, yard work and helping neighbors.
Harold is survived by his loving wife, Sibyl C. (Buck) Manifold of Anderson; two daughters, Linda (Kent) Heiny of Spring Hill, Tennessee, and Patricia (Calvin) Walden of Adrian, Michigan; four wonderful grandchildren, Brad (Kerrie) Kaylor of Tennessee, Charissa (Matt) Nuber of Michigan, Shane Walden of Texas, and Jonathan (Emily) Walden of Michigan.
Harold was a great-grandpa to Alexis and Callie Nuber, Daniel and Caitlyn Walden, and Korbin Kaylor; three brothers, Ray (Carolyn) Buck, Eldon (Betty) Buck, and George (Suzy) Buck.
He was preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Vera Manifold.
Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St. Anderson.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at Edgewood Baptist Church, 3743 Nichol Ave., Anderson, with Pastors Calvin Walden and Tom Lutz officiating.
Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Edgewood Baptist Church, Daniels Road Baptist Church, and Premier Hospice.
