Jack Charles Sink
He was born Dec. 25, 1933, in Hammond, the son of Pete and Florence Ebbert Sink. He was a graduate of Anderson High School and retired from General Motors after 40+ years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving as a Specialist 2.
He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 662, Chesterfield American Legion, Middletown Church of the Nazarene, and loved to fish, garden, and spend time at his cottage in Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Florence Sink; wife of 58 years, Julianne; and five brothers.
Survivors are his children, Mary (John) Hughes of Chesterfield, Tim Sink of Anderson, Trent (Vicki) Sink of Daleville and Todd (Lisa) Sink of Anderson; nine grandchildren, Cristina (Ronnie) Donahoe, Amanda (Matt) Martin, Justin Sink, Ashley Sink, Drake Ancil, Megan Sink, Tyler Sink, Austin (fiancée, Madison) Sink, and Shelby Sink.
He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Glendora Sink and Linda Parisi; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Elsie.
Special thank you to all who contributed to his care over the past year.
Services will be held on Thursday at 6 p.m. at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 S. Fifth St., Middletown, with Dr. Philip C. Rogers officiating. Cremation will follow.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Friends of Mounds/Native Plants.
