James Allen "Jim" Raines, 52, Anderson, passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, at his home.
He was born Feb. 3, 1965, in Anderson, to James and Cecilia "Ceal" (Heagy) Raines.
James was graduated from Elwood High School in 1983.
He had worked as a mechanic at Phillips Corp. and Weeks Auto and currently owned and operated the Mardi Gras Pizza in Lapel.
Jim enjoyed fishing, golfing, and was an avid pool player.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Lisa (Perry); one daughter, Amanda (Brian Lubert) of Fishers; four sisters, Peggy Buckner, Kim (Duane) Alsip, Candy Raines, and Beth (Reid) Myers; one brother, Joseph (Monica) Raines; and his adopted Mardi Gras family.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother-in-law, Roy Buckner.
A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 N. Main St., Lapel.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
