Janet F. Casterline, 81, of Anderson, passed away Nov. 20, 2017, at Community North Hospital, Indianapolis.
She was born Oct. 27, 1936, in Anderson, and resided most of her life in Anderson.
Janet graduated from Bethel College.
She was a retired school teacher from South Madison Community School Corp. where she taught at South and East Elementary.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Anderson, where her husband served as the calling pastor. He was also the pastor of the Frankton First United Methodist Church for 12 years.
Janet is survived by her children, Michael Casterline and Patti Casterline; son, David (Anita) Casterline; grandchildren, Ashley Schacht and Audra (Evan) Price.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kaye Casterline; mother, Nellie Swetnam; father, G. Frank Swetnam; and a sister, Mary Sharpe.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. William Mathys officiating. Cremation will take place and burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
