Funeral services for Mr. Jason Mark Key, age 54, of the Rushing Springs Community will be conducted 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, from the Pleasant Ridge Church. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, with Military Honors provided by the Honor Guard of the James T. Davis Memorial Post 5062 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Livingston.
The family will welcome friends on Saturday, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Pleasant Ridge Church.
Mr. Key passed from this life on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 15, 2017, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 30, 1963, in Anderson, Indiana, to Joseph "Joe" and Marjorie Muller Key. He graduated Anderson High School and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army from 1981 to 1989.
He was a member of the Daleville Baptist Church in Daleville, Indiana. Mark loved his wife and family. He loved to bowl, fish and watch football and basketball. He was a Green Bay Packers & Chicago Cubs fan.
He is survived by his wife, Leah Jackson Key of the Rushing Springs Community; son, Daniel Ward and wife Jennifer of Atlanta, Indiana; daughters, Jennifer Johnson and husband Shawn of Lafayette, Indiana, Julia Key of Anderson, Indiana and Rebecca Ward and partner Aron Mulvaney of Anderson, Indiana; brothers, David Key and wife, Amber of Crossville, Tennessee and Dan Key and wife, Vicki of Maryland; sister, Julie Butler and partner Dick Arnold of Anderson, Indiana; and grandchildren, Kyle Lennen, Kaleb Lennen and Allyson Wiger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Key.
