I have so many memories of you and our Wood High School Basketball team. Your love for the game and how you taught us was a passion that I have carried on with my sons and grandsons, all with you in mind. Thanks John for the memories.

A world of respect for this kind and humble man. It was an honor to have been able to have conversation with him, and even coach against him. His life story has always been an inspiration to me in my coaching career. Rest well, Jumpin Johnny! Congrats to a life well spent on earth. You left your mark!
