Judith Kay "Judy" Madron, 73, passed away March 3, 2018.
She was born in Elwood on Jan. 24, 1945, to Ralph and Helen Gordon. She attended high school in Elwood then earned her LPN from Anderson School of Practical Nursing.
Judy enjoyed creating ceramics and crafts of all kinds. She was a collector of rooster and angels. She was a devoted church member of Redeemer Baptist. Her joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Left to treasure Judy's memory are her husband of 27 years, Harvey Madron; children, Shelly (David) McFall, Robin Blake (Dax Harmon), Lanny Allgood (Tammy Corbin), Sherman Allgood, and Greg (Tina) Madron; siblings, Gail Wade and Ralph Gordon (Pam Wilson); grandchildren, Alan (Elizabeth) Favors, Scott (Brittany) Hawkins, Chantel Favors (Justin Griffin), Anthony Hawkins (Kelsey Pollard), Shane Allgood, Ashleigh Allgood, Shelby Allgood, Abby Madron, Elisabeth Allgood, Alex Harmon, and Stevie Harmon; Grammy's babies, Tyler, Alice, Jace, Stanley, Clay, Carson, Euriah, and Clarissa; several nieces and nephews; and her special toy poodle, Fanny.
Preceding Judy in death are her parents; and her sister, Helen Kinser.
A Celebration of Life in memory of Judy will take place at Redeemer Baptist Church on April 7 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Brad Storm presiding.
Donations in memory of Judy may be made to Redeemer Baptist Church.
