Julie Ann Porter, 54, formerly of Anderson, passed away Jan. 10, 2018, in Kokomo.
Born in Anderson, to the late Joseph F. and Monna L. (Scott) Jackson, she graduated from Highland High School and attended Ball State University.
She was married to Mark Porter and they shared seven years of marriage. She was retired from Smurfit Stone where she was employed for 15 years.
She enjoyed music, singing, dancing, cooking and spending time with her grandson.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Porter; daughter, Ashley Bodkins; brother, Joseph B. Jackson (wife, Joni); grandson Kyle T. Lawson; and a nephew and four nieces.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert A. Jackson; and son, Jordan P. Upton.
Services will be at 6 p.m. Monday, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of services.
