Our beloved June Rose Myers, 79, of Anderson, passed away Nov. 11, 2017 at Community Hospital in Anderson.
She was born on March 24, 1938, in Lafayette, Indiana.
June was a homemaker and also worked at Kirby as sweeper salesperson, Hoosier Park making pizzas and Northside Middle School in the cafeteria.
June was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anderson.
June loved going for walks around the block, enjoyed being outside and doing yard work.
June was devoted to her family, especially to her children.
June is survived by her daughter, Betty Kay Myers of Muncie; son, David Franklin Myers of Anderson; brother, Jack Fifer of New Richmond; sister, Mary (Sam) Wann of Milwaukee; four nieces, Carrie Wann, Randie Wann, Tammy Myers and Kathy Fifer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Theodore Myers; mother, Alice Fifer; father, Ralph Fifer.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Father Bob Williams officiating, Military graveside rites will be conducted by U.S. Army and Daleville American Legion.
Burial will take place in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
