Kelvin Ulysee "Graw" McGraw, 54, departed this life unexpectedly on May 29, 2017, in Anderson.
Kelvin was a 1981 graduate from Madison Heights High School and served in the U.S. Army. He played basketball for the Pirates. Kelvin was employed with Indiana Mentors. He enjoyed fishing, sports and spending time with family and friends.
Kelvin leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Ulysee and Addrene McGraw; loving brothers, Kenneth McGraw, of Anderson and Raymond (Anita) Dawson, of Lansing, Mich.; loving sisters, Darnella McGraw and Stacy (Eric) Bread; grandmother, Annie M. McGraw of Allendale S.C.; aunts and uncles, Charlotte (General) Fields and Daisy (James L.) Warner, of Anderson, Deairl (Earnestine) McGraw and Rosa McGraw, of Fort Wayne, Laura Gilbert, of Bradenton Fla., Rose Clay, of Covington, Ga., Evang. DeAnn (Victor) Wilder and Andrew (Lorraine) Moore, of Aiken, S.C., Jimmy (Girdine) Chisolm, of Charleston S.C., Freddie (Sarah) Moore, of Fairfax, Mary (LaVanda) Robinson, of Allendale S.C. and Larry Thompson Jr., of Fayetteville, N.C. ; very special friend, Annie Richardson; special niece, Lacretia McGraw; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Kelvin was loved and will be truly missed by all.
He was proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ellie Sr. and Lucretia McGraw; and maternal grandparents, Larry Thompson and Francis Chisolm.
Services will be held Tuesday at noon at New Zion Fellowship Baptist Church, 304 W 11th St., Anderson, Ind.
Visitation will be Tuesday 10 a.m. to noon at the church.
