Leonard's Story

Leonard "Len" O. Biby, 88, Anderson, passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
He was born March 17, 1928 in Piedmont, Okla., to the late Raymond and Olive Marie (Wise) Biby.
Leonard was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Kingston Avenue Baptist Church and a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Leonard was also a member of the Lion's Club in Pendleton. He retired as a salesman for William Wrigley Jr. Company. After retirement he enjoyed being a vendor at flea markets and lovingly was known as, "Cowboy". He was a regular patron of Panera Bread.
Leonard is survived by his children, Randy (wife, Debbie) Biby, of Daleville, Cheryl (husband, Mike) Sheets, of Pendleton, and Kevin (wife, Lora) Biby, of Pendleton; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Oneta Mae (Majors) Biby; second wife of almost 60 years, Arlene (Whitesel) Biby; grandson, Charles Arlan Biby; one brother and two sisters.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, with Tim Overton officiating. Burial will be in Eastwood Maplewood Cemetery.
