Linda Kay Earnest, 67, of Anderson, passed away on April 22, 2017, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
She was born Dec. 9, 1949, in Columbus, Indiana. She was the daughter of John William and Helen (McElroy) King.
She is survived by sons, Christopher W. (Prentice Simpkins, Jr.) Blanton of Austin, Texas, and Robert E. (Michelle) Blanton of Speedway, Ind.; daughters, Theresa A. (Ricky) Burton of Greenfield, Ind., and Marsha (Millard) Johns of Anderson; companion, Tom Dunigan, Sr. of Anderson; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry King of Cave City, Ky., Stephen King of Cave City, Ky., Kenneth King of Kentucky, and Lindley King of Taylorsville, Ind.; sisters, Mary Alice Burris of Washington and Kathleen McCarty of Columbus, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Tammy Lynn Johnson; brothers, Christopher, Ronald, John, Timothy, and Donald King; and sisters, Martha Powers, Janice Hughes, and Bottz King.
She was a member of the Edinburgh Assembly Of God Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren, fishing, gardening, and cleaning.
A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Ind. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until time of service.
