Lucille Fairer, 90, died Sept. 7, 2017, at St. Vincent Anderson Hospital.
She was born Oct. 30, 1926, in Troy, Alabama, to Arlow and Roberter McCullough.
Lucille was employed as a housekeeper for several Anderson families. She enjoyed planting flowers, cooking for her grandchildren, ushering, attending church, and walking for exercise.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her son, R.C. (Arline)Fairer of Anderson; grandchildren, Thomas (Kimberly) Fairer, Anderson, Rhonda Fairer, Fishers, Kenneth Fairer, Anderson, Gwendolyn Fairer, Anderson, Ryan (Kimberly) Fairer, Surprise, Arizona, Jeffery (Darlene) Fairer, Anderson, Darrell (Sherea) Fairer, Buffalo, New York City, Marvin (Leslie) Fairer, Kokomo, Keith (Tenisha) Fairer, Surprise, Arizona; 25 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Fairer; parents, Arlow and Roberta McCullough; son, Joe Fairer; grandchildren, Ronald Fairer and LaFronda Fairer; great-great-grandson, Arjonta Anderson; sisters, Willie Anderson, Gladys Ford, and Mattie Hotten; brothers, Tommie, Booker T., Jimmy Lee, Robert, Bonnie Bell McCullough, Arlow McCullough, and J.T. McCullough.
Services will be held at noon Saturday at Christ Temple Apostolic, 1610 W. 22nd St., Anderson.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church.
