Lundy's Story

Lundy Raymond McClelland, 79, of Anderson, passed away on Feb. 12, 2018 at his residence. He was born on Sept. 29, 1938 in Anderson, where he resided most of his life.
He served his country in the Navy and worked at Guide Lamp Division of General Motors He was a bartender and janitor.
He was a member of Anderson Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Lundy is survived by his children, Carol Gillam, Cheryl Sandin, Lorrie Warner, Sherry (Brian) Pennington, Shawn (Jennifer) McClelland, Benita (Brent) Irwin, Alicia McClelland, Patricia Hancock; brother, Steve McClelland; 20 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Juldene Sue McClelland; mother, Alice Mae McClelland; father, Lundy Ellsworth McClelland; son, Raymond McClelland; daughter, Julia Davis; daughter, Angela McClelland; son, William McClelland; daughter, Teresa McClelland; and sister, Linda Hood.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb, 16, 2018, at the funeral home, with Rev. Ned Clark officiating.
Burial will take place in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson
