Margaret Boyd, 94, Pendleton, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at her home following a brief illness.
She was born Dec. 5, 1923, in Pyrmont, to Bernice and Ruth (Stoner) Long.
Margaret was a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren.
She is survived by five children, Roger (Bonnie) Boyd, Kevin (Vicky) Boyd, Norma (Roger) Rapp, Anna Marie (Raymond) Oyler, and Melinda (Larry) Filbrun; 20 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; one brother; and five sisters.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Boyd; one grandson; one great-grandson; two brothers; and two sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 600 West and 400 South, Anderson. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 N. Main St., Lapel.
