Marie Usfo Hagan
She was born June 6, 1938, in Elwood, and resided most of her life in Anderson.
Marie graduated from Wendell Willkie High School in 1956, and then earned an associate degree 35 years later from Ball State University.
She worked for K-Mart West, and retired after 20 years of service. Marie then worked most recently with the Girl Scouts Council in Daleville.
She was a parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elwood and St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Anderson. She loved to needlework for her family and friends.
Marie is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, John R. Hagan; children, Matthew (Susan) Hagan of Morton, Illinois, Kelly (Jeff) Hagan-Morford of Coconut Creek, Florida, Michael (Bobbi) Hagan of Cardwell, Montana, and Mitchell Hagan of Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren, Brianne (Mike) Chacon, Chandler (Nicole) Morford, Celeste Morford, Layne Hagan, Raelynn Hagan, and Abigail Hagan; and great-grandchildren, Chandler Morford Jr. and Mike Titus. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Jenny Usfo; and sister, Diane Peters.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Elwood.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at noon at the church with the Rev. Dan Duff officiating. Burial will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Elwood.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Girl Scouts of America.
