Marilyn Ruth (Foutch) Charlton, 78, of Anderson, passed away on Dec. 9, 2017 at the Miller's Merry Manor in Middletown.
She was born on March 4, 1939 in Bloomfield, Indiana, and resided most of her life in Anderson and Pendleton.
She worked for St. John's Home Health Care as a CNA and retired after several years of service.
She was a member of AMVETS and the American Legion in Pendleton. She was an avid square dancer and belonged to the Footloose Singles Club and the Madison County Promenaders.
Marilyn is survived by her loving daughters, Karri Porter of Anderson, and Jada Shannon of Rossville; grandchildren, Meagan Porter of Anderson, and Shae (Jennifer) Knotts of Zionsville; and three great-grandchildren, Jared, Gavin and Avery.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Dale Foutch; parents, Claude and Iva (Jackson) Cliver; and siblings, Donald Vest, Audrey Hatfield and Albert Pilk.
Cremation will take place with a private graveside service at a later date at Grovelawn Cemetery, Pendleton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
