Michael Ray Clark, 67, formerly of Anderson, passed away Feb. 24, 2017, in Texas.
Mike was born on May 12, 1949, in Anderson. He married the love of his life Edith on May 8, 1972, and they were together for 45 years. He served in the United States Army and went onto work for Wal-Mart as a truck driver before retiring. Mike was co-owner of The Line Liquor Store in Fritch, Texas. He loved to play golf.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Clark; sons, Brad Furlong and wife Shannon, Keith Furlong and wife Michelle, and Todd Clark; his father, Wendell J. Clark; brothers and sister, Ronald Lee Clark, Donald J. Clark and special friend, Connie Shellabarger, Daniel Leroy Clark and special friend, Sharon Redmon, Dennis Keith (wife, Melonie) Clark and Rebecca Lynn Clark; grandchildren, Karissa Furlong, Faith Mahar, Kaitlyn Furlong, Tucker Furlong, Taylor Furlong, Shelby Clark, and Seth Clark; along with five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nettie Mae Clark; and sister-in-law, Sharon Carroll Clark.
Michael's request was to be cremated and have no services.
