Minnie P. Delph Minnie P. Delph, 73, Fishersburg, passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, at Riverview Hospital, Noblesville.
She was born March 7, 1945, in Baptist Ridge, Tennessee, to James and Ruby (Boles) Hull.
Minnie had the biggest heart and more friends than anyone could count. She was very dedicated to her career at O-I Brockway Glass where she was a forklift operator and very involved in the local union where she had served as president.
Lapel was Minnie's home for many years until she met her love and life partner, George and relocated to Fishersburg. She loved to travel, read, drink coffee, spend time at the Eagles and enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. She loved macaroni and cheese and was the best at cooking it.
Minnie was a member of the Prairie Baptist Church, the Lapel Eagles Aerie 4323, and the Lapel American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by one son, Jonathan; three grandchildren, Damion, Kaunnor, and Keinon; one great-grandson, Easton; two brothers, Charles (wife, Hattie) Hull and Cordell (wife, Nina) Hull; one sister, Jo (husband, Larry) Montgomery; and friend, Denise Wilkinson.
Minnie was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David; three brothers, Vainus, Dallas, and Stanley Hull; and three sisters, Elsie Hull, Rosie Netherton, and Betty Tebbe.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, 2018, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 N. Main St., Lapel, with Jonathan Delph officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018, at the funeral home.
