Patrick L. "Pat" Johnson, 60, passed away Friday, Dec. 8, 2017, at St. Vincent Anderson Hospital in Anderson following a brief illness.
He was born on Dec. 29, 1956, in Anderson, to William and Alice (Parish) Johnson. He attended Alexandria schools.
Pat was currently employed at Triple S Tire in Elwood, where he specialized in heavy equipment repair.
He was a member of the Alexandria Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a supporter of various veteran's organizations. Pat was devoted to his dog "Breezy." He was a Harley-Davidson fan, and enjoyed hunting and NASCAR. His family would like Pat to be remembered as a hardworking good man and a good father. He took his stepchildren in as his own.
Survivors include his mother, Alice Johnson, Alexandria; daughter, Danielle Estep (Skyler Reuter), Anderson; son, Dustin Estep, Greenfield; grandson, David Settlemire; uncle, Dick Parish; cousins, Lisa Parish, Larry Fox, Connie Parish Holfmann, Jim Parish, Dutch Parish and Mike Parish; and ex-wife and friend, Colleen Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Johnson in 1982; brother, Michael Johnson in 1995; and uncle, James Parish.
Graveside services will take place at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday at Park View Cemetery in Alexandria. Rev. Courtley Granger will officiate.
Friends may call at the Noffze Funeral Home, 501 N. Harrison St., Alexandria, after 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
