Henrietta M. "Penny" Busby, 90, Noblesville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at her home following a brief illness.
She was born on Sept. 16, 1927, in Columbus, Ohio.
Penny graduated from Columbus South High School.
She retired from the former St. John's Medical Center in Anderson and had also worked at the Anderson Police Department.
Penny was a member of the Prairie Farmerettes and enjoyed working in ceramics.
She is survived by two children, Elaine Aldred and Greg (wife, Judy) Busby, both of Anderson; two stepsons, Bret (wife, Ranaye) Busby and Randy Busby, both of Anderson; a son-in-law, James Pherson of Chandler; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Penny was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Miller; first husband, Harold Busby; second husband, Neil Busby; a daughter, Eileen Pherson; and a granddaughter.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 N. Main St., Lapel, Indiana, with Rick Sisson officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and one hour prior to the funeral Wednesday at the funeral home.
