Randy Davis, 56, originally from Plainfield, Indiana, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Feb. 16, 2018, at IU West Hospital.
He was born March 1, 1961, in San Diego, California, to Norma (Southers) Davis Ebert and William R. Davis. He was a graduate of Plainfield High School and attended Ivy Tech and IUPUI.
He worked for Upstaging, Inc. transporting concert equipment across the United States and Canada for artists such as Katy Perry, Kenny Chesney, Paul McCartney, U2 and many others.
In addition to his parents, Randy is survived by his brother, Greg (Stefanie); stepsisters, Elizabeth Uvila (Larry), and Melissa Ebert; stepbrother, Robert Ebert (Cheryl); and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his beloved stepfather, Robert Ebert; and stepbrother, Steve Ebert.
Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 710 E. Buchanan St., Plainfield. Services to place his ashes in the church's columbarium will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Randy's name may be made to IU Health Hospice at IU Health West Hospital, Avon, IN 46123.
