She was born Dec. 12, 1968, in Michigan City.
Ray Ann was fiercely devoted to her family and friends. Being a mother to Tucker was one of the greatest joys of her life. She was known to make anyone laugh in any circumstance. She was so engaging and life giving and remained a faithful witness to the Lord through her long battle.

Arthur of Pendleton; mother-in-law, Glenda Gates of Anderson; sisters-in-law, Kim Tisdale of Pendleton and Lori Gates of Anderson; two nieces that she loved like her own, Madi Arthur and Hannah Tisdale; and many cousins that she loved dearly.
Ray Ann was preceded in death by her Grams and Gramps, Nova and Jerry Crum; her uncle, Robert L. Reeter and her aunt, Jacqueline "Sue" (Reeter) Muncy; and her father-in-law, Fred Gates.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, at Madison Park Church of God, 6607 Providence Drive, Anderson, with a greeting time beginning at 9 a.m. Pastors Jim Lyon and Paul Strozier will officiate the service.
