Ray Edward Steigerwalt

Ray Edward Steigerwalt, 88, of Anderson, went to be with his savior on Sept. 6, 2018, at his residence. He was born on Feb. 12, 1930, in Ashland, Ohio and resided most of his life in Anderson.
Ray served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He worked for Davis Dairy Farms, Emge Packing Company and retired from Hollon's Pharmacy.
He attended South Meridian Church of God, and he helped host the Ray and Alma Share Group for 28 years.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, Alma Steigerwalt; son, Steve Edward (Rosie) Steigerwalt; daughter, Tami Marie (Greg) White; granddaughters, Adrian (Thomas) Steele, Rebecca White (Matt Summerfield) and Kelli (Tyler) Provence; four great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Floy Steigerwalt; father, George Steigerwalt; and siblings, Karl, Verna and Walter.
Visitation will be held Monday from 10 a.m. to noon at South Meridian Church of God, 2402 Meridian Street Anderson.
Services will be at noon, Monday at the church, with Dr. David Neidert officiating.
Burial will take place in Mt. Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Ovid.
Memorial contributions may be made to South Meridian Church of God.
