Rev. Jack's Story
The Rev. Jack Edward Wachenschwanz, 83, of Anderson, went to his heavenly home Dec. 14, 2017, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 25, 1934. He was the son of William and Margaret Wachenschwanz who preceded him in death.
Jack was a pastor for 55 years and loved preaching God's Word and music. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Virginia of 60 years. They have two sons, David (husband of Young Hee) from San Jose, California and Mark from Fort Wayne. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Michael and Kirsten of San Jose, California, and Brandon of Fort Wayne.
He is survived by brother and sister in-laws; nieces and nephews; and many church friends.
Services will be at East Lynn Christian Church, 522 E. 53rd St., Anderson, on Tuesday, Dec. 19. The viewing will be from 10 a.m. to noon.
A Celebration of Life Service will begin at noon with Pastors Ed Hyatt and Steven DeFields-Gambrel officiating.
Albertson's Mortuary has been entrusted with Jack's arrangements and cremation will follow.
