Rhonda Jo Shelley, 64, of Markleville, passed on Saturday, March 3, 2018.
She was born May 16, 1953, in Noblesville.
Rhonda was a homemaker who loved her children, grandchildren, family, and her animals. She was known for her pure heart, compassion, generosity, and being 100 percent selfless in every way. Rhonda enjoyed riding her bike, family gatherings, shopping on Friday and listening to music, especially Garth Brooks and The Beatles. She was vigilant about her neighborhood and liked to make sure everyone was OK. She kept her heart open and will be remembered for her contagious laugh and her beautiful smile that always reached her eyes. As Rhonda would say, "Hang in there, gang. I love you, ALL of you."
She is survived by her children, James H. Shelley, Karen Shelley, Steven Shelley, Jeff (Casey) Shelley, Diana (Justin) Miller, and Rhonda L. (Brett) Shelley; parents, Robert and Laura (Eiler) Harless; grandchildren, Conlan, Veda, Madison, Jase, Makala, Ellaina, Mila, Raylan, Vivian, and Rigden; siblings, Bobby (Teresa) Harless and Susan (Darrell) Lane; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Hugh Shelley; granddaughter, Grace; sister and brother-in-law, Darla and Thomas Moon; and nephew, Chris Harless.
Services will be at noon Thursday at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Wilkinson. Burial will be in McCray Cemetery followed by a pitch-in at the Hardy Building in Markleville.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
