Robert E. "Rob" Holler, 55, of Alexandria, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017, at IU Health Methodist Hospital resulting from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident.
Rob was born in Anderson on Feb. 14, 1962, the son of Robert F, and Esther (Williams) Holler. He was graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School.
Rob was retired from the Indiana Department of Corrections.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Alexandria and Eagles Lodge Aries 1771. Rob was also an active and dedicated member of the Guardian of the Children, Hanging Rock Chapter, Marion.
He is survived by his son, Josh (wife, Leslie) Holler; sister, Linda (Jerry) Monroe; grandson, Landon; and granddaughter, Sloane Holler.
A Service to celebrate Rob's life will be on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 1 p.m. in Whetsel Funeral Service, Alexandria, with the Revs. Pat Robbins and Harrison Williams officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to the Guardian of the Children, Hang Rock Chapter, 414 W. Fifth St., Peru, IN 46970 or in care of the funeral home.
